These Terms of Service govern your use of theodditydept.com and your purchases from The Oddity Dept (“we,” “us”). By using this site or placing an order you agree to these terms and to our Shipping Policy, Returns Policy and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. About us and our products

The Oddity Dept sells original-design apparel. The Oddity Dept is a fictional bureau created for entertainment; it is not affiliated with any government agency. Every item is made to order and fulfilled by our printing and fulfillment partner, Printful, which prints, packs and ships orders on our behalf.

2. Orders

You must be 18 or older, or have a parent or guardian’s permission, to place an order. Placing an order is an offer to buy; an order is accepted when we confirm it. We may decline or cancel an order, with a full refund, for reasons such as a pricing or product error, an unavailable item, an address we cannot ship to, or suspected fraud. We ship to addresses in the United States only.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Shipping is free on every order within the United States. Any applicable sales tax is shown at checkout. All payments are processed exclusively by PayPal and are subject to PayPal’s own user agreement and privacy policy. We do not receive or store your card number or PayPal password. You are charged when you place your order.

4. Production, shipping and delivery

Because items are made to order, production comes first: most orders are printed and packed within 2 to 5 business days, and longer during holidays and other busy periods. Delivery by the carrier then typically takes about 2 to 7 business days. All timelines are estimates, not guarantees. Orders may ship in more than one package. 5. Cancellations and changes

An order can be cancelled or changed only before it enters production. Once production starts it cannot be cancelled or changed. See our Returns Policy.

6. Returns and refunds

Because each item is custom printed for you, we do not accept returns or give refunds for a change of mind, or for ordering the wrong size or color. If an item arrives misprinted, damaged, defective or wrong, or is lost in transit, contact us within 30 days and we will arrange a replacement or refund. Approved refunds are returned to the original PayPal funding source. Full details are in our Returns Policy.

7. Sizing, color and print variation

Please use the size chart on each product page. Youth sizes are printed on a different shirt than adult sizes. Product images are mockups, and screens vary, so colors may look different in person. Small variations in print position, size and color, and in fabric from one production batch to another, are normal for made-to-order apparel.

8. Intellectual property

The artwork, designs, text, images and other content on this site belong to The Oddity Dept or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Buying a shirt gives you the shirt, not any right to copy, reproduce or sell the artwork. You may not use our content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

9. Acceptable use

Please do not misuse the site: do not attempt to interfere with its operation or security, use automated means to collect content or place orders, submit false information, or use the site for any unlawful purpose.

10. Third-party services

We rely on third parties, including Printful for production and fulfillment, PayPal for payments, shipping carriers for delivery and Cloudflare for website security and delivery. Their services are governed by their own terms and policies, and delays or problems with them can affect your order.

11. Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, carrier or supply disruptions, equipment or internet outages, or public emergencies.

12. Disclaimer and limit of liability

The site and products are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law, without warranties beyond those that cannot be excluded. To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Oddity Dept is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have that cannot legally be limited.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed, and the version in effect when you place an order applies to that order.
